KETAPANG, WEST KALIMANTAN (May 26, 2026) — Ahead of the Eid al-Adha celebrations, PT Mayawana Persada reinforced its community ties and social commitment by distributing 11 sacrificial goats to villages located near its concession boundaries.


Handed over directly by PT Mayawana Persada’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, the livestock was received by village heads and local community leaders. The recipient villages included Kualan Hilir Village, Kampar Sebomban Village, Semandang Kanan Village, Sungai Sepeti Village, Sungai Mata-mata Village, and Durian Sebatang Village.

The distribution was warmly received by local village administrations. The Head of Kualan Hilir Village in Simpang Hulu District, Lorensius Kiang, expressed appreciation for the company's inclusive outreach.


"We greatly appreciate PT Mayawana Persada’s consideration. Although the majority of residents in our area are Catholic, we have Muslim community members in several sub-villages celebrating Eid al-Adha. These livestock will be handed over to support their festive celebrations," shared Lorensius Kiang.


Similarly, the Head of Kampar Sebomban Village in Simpang Dua District, Iskimo, highlighted the company's consistent support during major religious holidays.
